Kolkata Sightseeing Tour Package provides an overview of
famous tourist attractions in the city. The tour package covers a
small travel period, normally two or three days. Kolkata city is
devoid of attractions like monumental places as are found at other
tourist destinations. Due to its recent existence as a city the
popular places bear contributions and works of legendary people from
the last two or three centuries. These tourists places include
Maidan, Fort William, Eden Gardens, Victoria Memorial, St Paul's
Cathedral, Paresnath Jain Temple, Belur Math, Dakshineswar Kali
Temple and Mother Teresa's homes. The tourist booking offices
function within the city premises and beyond. The package plan is
as:
Day 01
The first day is the reception day. Tourists are received from
their respective stations (airport or railway station) and
transferred to their respective hotel rooms. The accommodation
facilities and services are mutually agreed at the tour booking
time. It is an overnight stay and without any travel plans.
Day 02
On second day explorations start with trips to sites like Indian
Museum, Park Street, Maidan and Fort William, Rabindra Sadan,
Aurbindo Bhavan and Bhuwalka Bhawan. The evening is scheduled for
more places like St Paul's Cathedral, Mother Teresa's homes.
Day 03
The third day is scheduled for shopping at various markets in the
city. The crew heads for Shobhabazar, Shyambazar and Bagbazar
precincts. Either on the same evening or on the next day tourists
are assisted back to their stations and the tour ends.
