About CIMA
The Centre of International Modern Art, CIMA, opened in 1993 under
the auspices of ABP Ltd, a leading Indian media group known for its
moorings in culture. It was designed under the guidance of renowned
art galleries and museums in London and New York. In a short span of
seven years, CIMA has established itself as a premier art center of
India.It has added another feather to the cap of the brilliant city
which has always been known to be the epitome of art and culture and
all refined activities.
The gallery is India's most avant garde art center, spread over
9,000 sq.ft. State- of- the- art gallery space in Kolkata, a
comprehensive date base and evaluation and publication facilities.
Since its inception, it has hosted several exhibitions of renowned
artists both from India and abroad.
CIMA Art Gallery is a source of intense delight to the connoisseurs
of art and culture. The colourful art exhibitions held in CIMA,
